I forgot to add that my name is Natalie Brandsma. I am a biochemistry major, english literature minor. This is my fifth year at MSU, and I will graduate this spring.
I am from Durango, CO. Came to Montana to leave home without leaving the mountains. I have loved my college experience at Montana State.
On July 20, my world changed forever when my father had a sudden massive heart attack 200 feet below Long's Peak summit. My photo is one from that day, that my father took: it started as such a normal day. I started writing about this experience in my first blog, a blog started for class. And found that writing, sharing my story, is healing. So I've begun again.
Thank you for listening.
